Elizabeth is the eldest founding member of Highland Fusion. She started doing Scottish Highland dance in 1991 at the age of 12. She currently is certified as a Scottish dance teacher, having obtained her Associate Teachers Degree from the B.A.T.D. in 1999. She was a member of the Cameron Highlanders Pipe Band for several years and also held the position of Assistant Head Dancer in the band.

Elizabeth's dance background spans beyond the limits of Highland dance. She has taken various dance classes, including classes in jazz and modern dance styles. In high school, she was involved in the school's Colorguard and was Dance Lieutenant on the team. Elizabeth also enjoys playing the piano and participating in various social activities.

Elizabeth graduated from the University of San Diego, majoring in Business Administration, and recently just moved to Germany, after spending two years in Japan with her family. She currently lives with her husband and two children in Northern Germany.
