Katie has been a member of Highland Fusion since 1999. Katie has been performing and competing in Scottish Highland dance since 1991, beginning at the age of 6 along with her older sister, Elizabeth (also a member of Highland Fusion). Katie is a Premier level dancer and has competed and won throughout the Southwestern region of the United States.

Currently, Katie is finishing up her undergraduate degree. She was actively involved in activities in her high school, as a member of the Dance team for two years, and as the goalie on the Girls Lacrosse Team. She was also a member of the Honors Society and a manager for Field Hockey. She enjoys acting and has been a member of Community Theater where she performs in plays throughout the San Diego area. She also loves spending time near the beach and with her friends.

Katie recently got married, and now lives in San Diego with her husband. She currently works part-time and enjoys what free time she has left.
