Lauren has been a member of Highland Fusion since April of 2002. She began her Scottish highland dance training at the age of 10 and began competing soon after. Lauren has been a premier level dancer since 1997 and has competed throughout the United States, Canada, and Scotland winning numerous awards. She is also a performer with the UC Scottish Dancers, an Orange County Performing Arts Center based company. In addition to highland dance, Lauren has excelled in other styles of dance such as ballet, jazz, tap, and modern since her early childhood.

When Lauren isn't dancing, she works full-time. Her hobbies outside of dance include hanging out with friends, shopping, listening to music, and going to concerts. Some of Lauren's favorite bands include The Beatles, Led Zeppelin, Pink Floyd, Incubus, 311, A Perfect Circle, and Tool.

In the future, Lauren plans to have a successful career and to teach dance while living in her native Southern California.
